After lighting up Paris with bioluminescent displays and dazzling Miami with galactic glamor, WoW’s flagship Gala returns with a bang. To counter this decline, WoW is widening the tent. For the first time, tickets are available to non-NFT holders, inviting a broader audience into the fold. It’s part of a deliberate pivot: WoW has spent the past year expanding its messaging to Web2 platforms and spotlighting issues like funding gaps, where women-led startups still receive only 2% of venture capital, despite launching businesses at double the rate of men.
This evolution is also technical. In June, WoW moved to Tezos’ Etherlink, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 chain using Smart Rollups—a scalable, eco-friendly blockchain that aligns with WoW’s values.
Feathers, Fizz, and a Full-Spectrum Soundtrack
WoW is pulling out all the stops for Lisbon. Brazilian act Venga Venga leads the lineup with sensory DJ sets that blend music, poetry, and visuals.
