A Big Shift for AlphaTON
AlphaTON Capital Corp’s Nasdaq ticker will change to ATON beginning September 4, 2025. It represents a significant shift in direction, from biotech to blockchain and digital assets. AlphaTON initiated the process by issuing approximately $38.2 million in a private placement and securing a $35 million loan from BitGo Prime. They will use these funds to buy Toncoin and establish the treasury. The funding will close on September 5, 2025.

AlphaTON’s strategy has three main goals:
- They will build the Toncoin Treasury by buying and collaborating with TON tokens.
- The strategy involves generating yield through staking and network validation to expand the treasury and help secure the TON network.
- AlphaTON will expand the ecosystem by investing in Telegram mini-apps based on TON.
Leadership and Partnerships
The new CEO, Brittany Kaiser, brings extensive expertise in data privacy and cryptocurrency innovation. AlphaTON has formed a team of high-profile advisors. They include Anthony Scaramucci, Michael Terpin (the ‘Godfather of Crypto’), and Jaime Rogozinski, founder of WallStreetBets.
AlphaTON is building strategic alliances with major companies to develop the Toncoin Treasury. Partners include BitGo, Animoca Brands, Kraken, and Crypto.com.
